Amusement Park Geiselwind - Fun and Action for the Whole Family

The amusement park Geiselwind (Geiselwind vacation rentals | Geiselwind travel guide) is one of the biggest ones in Germany and should be on the to—do list for any family with children holidaying in Southern Germany.
On approximately 400,000 square meters the park comes up with everything a child’s heart desires. There are not only rides and play grounds but also various live shows, a huge zoo area, exhibitions and idyllic relaxation areas, which make a trip to Geiselwind a unique and highly enjoyable experience for the whole family.
One of the main attractions is the Boomerang, the only rollercoaster in the country that drives backwards and forwards. Looping the loop at almost 50 mph and 125 feet up in the air — this is only for the brave. But of course there are also more mellow rides for younger children, like a Ferris wheel, a nostalgic merry—go—round, the Viking longboat and white—water rafting.
If you want to be on solid ground for a while, just enjoy one of the many great shows Geiselwind puts on! Of course there is a traditional circus and various musical shows but the highlight certainly is the Magic—Express. In this show you do not just sit in front of a stage but the magic
train takes you on a journey through space and time. On this spellbinding trip you can have a peek at what an Oriental harem in the Middle Ages was like, watch Bavarian farm life in the 19th century, attend a vaudeville show in 1920s New York and see much more.
One of the most fascinating experiences for children usually is the T—Rex World, where dinosaurs and pre—historic creatures come to life. Once you have crossed through a waterfall at its entrance, you will feel like you fell asleep and just woke up in the movie Jurassic Park.
